Job summary

Centers in Florence, AL is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Director - RN to lead a nursing unit and partner with the Director of Nursing to deliver high-quality care. The role focuses on patient outcomes, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
