Job summary

The Pines at Bristol, a proud affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing staff in a dedicated unit. You will ensure quality care, foster a positive work environment, and support the health and well-being of our residents.

This full-time role runs 7a–3p, Monday–Friday with on-call rotation. Required: valid state RN license; preferred advanced degree or certification; strong leadership and clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
• Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
• Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being.
