Job summary

Sunnyside Care Center in New York is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a 40-bed unit and supervise daily nursing activities, ensuring excellent patient care and safety. The RN Supervisor will help coordinate care plans, monitor quality, and maintain an organized, safe environment for residents.

Applicants should have prior supervisor experience in a medical setting, a valid RN license, and strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills to support the care team and QAPI

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Prior supervisory or lead nurse experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and supervise day-to-day nursing activities for a 40-bed unit.
• Ensure highest quality patient care and safety standards.
• Assess and document patient care needs and coordinate with physicians and family.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and QA processes; participate in meetings.
