Job summary

Sunnyside Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Supervisor to lead nursing operations for an 80-bed facility. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and supervising daily nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care and a safe environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of clinical nursing in long-term care, 1 year of supervisory experience, and NYS RN licensure. Competitive wage and benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Licensed in NYS as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and supervise day-to-day nursing activities for an 80-bed facility.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, privacy, and cleanliness.
• Attend management and care plan meetings with licensed staff.
• Perform unit rounds and assess care needs upon admission and changes.
• Coordinate with physicians and guardians for changes in condition.
• Prioritize tasks, address staffing issues, and support quality care.
• Document care activities and ensure accuracy of nursing records.
• Respond to complaints in a timely and professional manner.
