Job summary

MediLodge of Leelanau is seeking a Unit Manager/Infection Control - Registered Nurse (RN) to direct the nursing unit operations in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, regulatory compliance, and high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, CPR certification if applicable, and have at least three years of nursing experience including one year in long-term care. This position is based on-site with MediLodge’s team in Michigan.

Qualifications

• RN license required and state requirements met.
• CPR certification (teaching certificate) if applicable.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience, including one year in long-term care.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the nursing unit operations to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Plans and facilitates meetings to address resident care issues.
• Manages staffing, budgeting, and performance evaluations for the unit.
• Coordinates with physicians and other care team members for timely interventions.
• Oversees medication administration, records, and supply management.
