Job summary

Frederick Villa Healthcare is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead clinical operations and coordinate care across nursing units. The role supports the DON and medical director, ensuring compliant, high-quality nursing services on a Monday‑Friday schedule with on-call rotations.

The position requires an active Maryland RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and proven supervisory experience in a nursing home setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelines.
• Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Experience supervising GNAs and LPNs in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor residents' health and assess their needs to provide quality care.
• Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist during required procedures.
• Maintain complete healthcare records and reports according to best practices.
• Supervise, manage, and assist in training GNAs and LPNs on staff.
• Collaborates with DON to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Ensure timely and high-quality nursing services for patients/residents.
