Qualifications

• Must possess valid nursing license in the state of Maryland.
• RN, BSN Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the unit's station under the supervision of the ADON/DON.
• Assists the charge nurses with admissions and/or readmissions on day shift and coordinates with other shifts.
• Monitors and coordinates nursing services, treatment and documentation for safe, appropriate care.
• Participates in orientation of professional nurses to unit policies and job descriptions.
• Recommends policies to enhance nursing care and reports on unit operations.
