Job summary

Water's Edge is an affiliate of National Health Care Associates. We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for the Day shift (Monday–Friday) to oversee the nursing staff in a dedicated unit and ensure the delivery of quality resident care.

You will develop care plans, supervise operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident well-being in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in supervision/leadership in long-term care preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit.
• Develop and implement care plans, ensuring individualized resident care.
• Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular assessments to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being.
