Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license is required.
• Prior supervisory, charge nurse, or Unit Manager experience preferred.
• SNF experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
• Monitor resident conditions, care plans, documentation, and clinical outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage daily assignments and help ensure appropriate staffing.
• Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff education initiatives.
