AristaCare Health Services in Plainfield, NJ is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN) to oversee the care management of a designated population within a unit. The RN will conduct the nursing process, assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation under NJ Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires a valid NJ RN license, at least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care setting, and training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversees care management for a population within an assigned area, unit or clinical function.
• Conducts nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation under the State's Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinates resource utilization and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction.
