Job summary

Robinson Terrace Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care. This full-time leadership role emphasizes policy enforcement, staff development, and efficient unit management.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support residents and staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in a Unit Manager role (preferred).
• Valid RN license.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce employee policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant care delivery.
• Mentor and support less experienced nurses, offering clinical guidance and career development advice.
• Establish and uphold standards of care for the unit to ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Review resident records and monitor the quality of care provided to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
• Conduct case reviews and ensure that individualized care plans are consistently followed.
• Address inquiries and concerns from residents and their families in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.
• Advocate for the unit’s interests to upper management and collaborate in addressing issues as needed.

Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000
