Job summary

Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a compassionate RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing unit and ensure high-quality resident care. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and monitor outcomes.

The role requires a valid PA RN license, strong clinical leadership, empathy, and excellent time management. Prior unit management experience and a commitment to staff development and infection control are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License in the state of Pennsylvania (PA).
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience is desirable, but not required.
• Previous Unit Manager experience desirable.
• Empathy while providing exceptional nursing care.
• Problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Time Management skills to ensure all residents are provided the best level of care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee daily resident care in accordance with facility/state standards via supervising nurse staff.
• Report to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care.
• Promote patient independence by setting goals and educating residents and families.
• Resolve resident problems using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Adhere to infection-control policies to protect residents and staff.
• Document resident care and maintain professional knowledge.
