Job summary

Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead daily nursing operations on a unit and provide clinical leadership to the staff. You will oversee RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care with strong regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on coordinating care plans, monitoring documentation, and improving outcomes while collaborating with physicians, rehabilitation staff, and social services in a dynamic post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in nursing leadership or supervision preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
• Ensure residents receive individualized, safe, and quality care.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor residents' condition changes.
• Review and ensure accurate nursing documentation and medical records.
• Coordinate care plans and collaborate with physicians, rehab staff, social services, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding care, concerns, and changes in condition.
• Monitor medication administration and ensure compliance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, and coverage as needed.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing staff.
• Participate in staff education, training, and competency programs.
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team. The RN Unit Manager will oversee the day-to-day nursing operations of an assigned unit while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Job Summary
