Job summary

Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Unit Manager for a full-time role. You will oversee nursing operations on the unit and ensure residents receive comprehensive, person-centered care in a supportive environment.

The position requires an active NJ RN license, BLS CPR, and at least five years of nursing experience with two years in supervision. Join a team committed to Passion, Respect, and Excellence in care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations on the assigned unit.
• Coordinate resident care to support physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely incident reporting with follow-up to Admin and DON.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor care plans, regulations, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident-centered care.

Join our team at Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as an RN Unit Manager.

Full-time opportunity available

Monday-Friday

$70,000-$100,000 per year (all inclusive)

Responsibilities for Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as a RN in the state of NJ.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
