Job summary

Seacrest Rehabilitation and Healing Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centered care in a 171-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS CPR, and at least five years of nursing experience with two years in supervision. This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay of $45-52, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in NJ.
• Valid BLS CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college/university is preferred.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN In NJ.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
