Job summary

ExcelCare Norwood is seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee daily clinical operations on the nursing unit and lead a team of LPNs and CNAs. You will ensure high-quality resident care in line with care plans and physician orders, while coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit

• Supervising, supporting, and mentoring LPNs and CNAs on the unit

• Ensuring residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders

• Monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

• Completing and reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations

• Participating in care plan meetings and collaborating with other departments to support resident needs

• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Addressing staff concerns and helping maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred

• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
