Position: RN Unit Manager
Facility: Atrium Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

We are currently seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to collaborate with our Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in overseeing exceptional patient care for our residents. Compensation:
Up to $115,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction in daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility guidelines
  • Supervise nursing personnel, ensuring adherence to job duties and standards of care
  • Address and resolve staff grievances and concerns, reporting directly to the Director of Nursing Services
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure 24/7 nursing coverage, minimizing overtime and the use of agency staff
  • Implement progressive counseling and disciplinary actions as necessary, in line with facility policies
  • Supervise and mentor unit staff, promoting a culture of professionalism and growth
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, driving continuous improvement in resident care
  • Oversee the MDS completion process and collaborate on discharge plans with the interdisciplinary team
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding of nursing personnel, fostering a positive and engaged workforce
  • Uphold a caring and compassionate environment for residents and their families, ensuring the highest quality of service and respect for individual needs

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the State of New York
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility
