Job summary

The Pavilion at Queens in Flushing, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager/Supervisor to lead the Rehab Unit and ensure exceptional patient-centered care. Responsibilities include overseeing care and safety for residents and staff, supervising nursing personnel, documenting histories, administering meds, and coordinating appointments across shifts.

Requirements: NY RN license, minimum 1 year supervisory experience in long-term care, BLS, and strong leadership for compliant, quality

Qualifications

• New York RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in long-term care.
• BLS certification and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift
• Supervises and assists all nursing personnel in their work performance when necessary
• Performs duties of unit nurse if necessary
• Document patient histories, administers medication and care as needed, coordinate necessary appointments
• Monitor residents to ensure that the plans are being followed and that the resident’s and family needs are being met
• Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned units

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager/Supervisor to join our Rehab Unit at our skilled nursing facility in Flushing Queens!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shift
• Supervises and assists all nursing personnel in their work performance when necessary
• Performs duties of unit nurse if necessary
• Document patient histories, administers medication and care as needed, coordinate necessary appointments
• Monitor residents to ensure that the plans are being followed and that the resident’s and family needs are being met

Minimum Qualifications include:

• Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York State
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/unit manager experience in a long-term health care setting
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Has knowledge of Federal and State health regulations
• Experience with care plans and strong documentation skills
• Flexibility in work hours
• BLS Certification
• RN License
