Job summary

North Auburn Care in Auburn, WA is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. The role reports to facility leadership and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in quarterly installments during the first year of hire, with a starting pay of $47 per hour.

You will create daily assignments, perform rounds to reinforce policy compliance, participate in staff training, and coordinate care with other departments.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with no enforcement action.
• Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Familiarity with nursing laws and guidelines for care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute daily work assignments to staff.
• Makes frequent rounds to ensure policy adherence and provide education as needed.
• Participate in training programs and assist with new staff orientation.
• Coordinate care with other departments to meet residents' needs.
• Process and assist with all new admission orders.

What you will do:

• Create and distribute daily work assignments to staff
• Makes frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff are following the facility policy and procedures - redirecting or educating as necessary
• Participate in training programs and assist with new staff orientation
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate care for residents
• Process/assist with all new admission orders

Must have:

• Current RN license without any enforcement action against it
• Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing Setting preferred
• BLS Certified
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
