Qualifications

• Nursing leadership experience required.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and report results to leadership.
• Staffing management including scheduling, allocation and coaching.
• Experience with unit budgeting and resource planning.
• Strong communication with physicians, patients and staff.
• Change agent for continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the on-site nursing team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage unit operations to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor KPIs and report results to leadership.
• Enforce infection control practices and safety protocols across the unit.
• Develop and monitor care plans with metric-based adjustments.
• Oversee staffing schedules, allocations, and performance to meet targets.
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across the unit.
• Ensure effective communication with physicians, patients, families, and staff.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff through coaching and structured feedback.
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply usage to optimize costs.
• Support onboarding and training programs for new hires and current staff.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the unit.
