Job summary

Greenville Post Acute (GPA) in Greenville, SC is hiring a compassionate Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical leadership for a resident care unit. This role supervises nursing staff, coordinates care plans, and ensures regulatory compliance to promote excellent resident outcomes.

You will work with physicians, families, and the broader care team to maintain high standards of care on day shifts. GPA supports professional growth, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong understanding of resident care planning, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing and supporting nursing staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned resident care unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely follow-up on changes in status.
• Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support survey readiness efforts and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, families, and other departments.
