Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate unit activities, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced department. The role supports regulatory compliance and collaboration with pre-hospital and hospital teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D only: advanced fetal monitoring or obtain within six months.
• Two years relevant clinical nursing experience.
• ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D ACLS required upon orientation.
• ER: PALS or ENPC required within ninety days.
• Post-partum, Nursery, L&D: NRP required upon orientation completion.
• Wound care: Wound-Ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per standards; monitor and evaluate care; supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs.
• Staff training, orientation, and annual competency oversight.
• Coordinate scheduling and department activities.
• Liaise with pre-hospital providers and hospital staff.
• Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory requirements.
