Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Unit Care Coordinator to supervise, implement, and coordinate patient care on the unit, ensuring compliance with all laws and Life Care standards. The role involves directing daily nursing duties, coordinating care plans, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and service.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing diploma and an active RN license with CPR certification, and preferably has one year of geriatric nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• Active RN license in good standing
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs on the floor
• Chart appropriately, accurately, and timely
• Coordinate patient care plans and services
• Accurately administer medication as ordered by a physician
• Respond to emergencies in a leadership capacity
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and sanitation
• Maintain confidentiality of all information
• Follow Life Care policies and code of conduct
