Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage to handle telephone-based patient needs from our Elmhurst area location. You will assess callers, provide clinical guidance, and educate patients as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires Illinois RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, strong communication, and the ability to multitask with phone and typing duties. Full-time schedule with daytime hours and no travel expected.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $35.15 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Position: Registered Nurse Triage
• Location: 755 N York, Elmhurst
• Full Time: 40 hours/ week
• Hours: M-F Generally 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Travel: No

What you will do:

The RN Telephone Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse and responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. Continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities.

What you will need:

• Current Illinois RN licensure
• CPR BLS - AHA
• Operational knowledge of physician practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Possesses professional telephone etiquette skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be a self-starter, able to handle frequent periods of high stress and difficult patient situations.
• Must possess excellent time management skills.
• Must possess basic keyboard, computer and internet skills.
• Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously.
