Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage to support telephone-based patient triage from Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role typically runs 7:30am–4:30pm, with 40 hours per week, M-F. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities include assessing caller needs through listening and clinical evaluation, delivering education, and solving problems for timely care. Louisiana licensure required? (Note: location shows Illinois.)

• CPR BLS - AHA certification required.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $35.15 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

The RN Telephone Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse and responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. Continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities.

What you will need:

• Current Illinois RN licensure

• CPR BLS - AHA

• Operational knowledge of physician practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

• Possesses professional telephone etiquette skills.

• Must be a team player.

• Must be a self-starter, able to handle frequent periods of high stress and difficult patient situations.

• Must possess excellent time management skills.

• Must possess basic keyboard, computer and internet skills.

• Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously.
