Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN in Triage for a 13-week assignment in a clinic setting. The role includes triage calls, EMR documentation, and coordination of patient care with cardiology-focused patients. Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an active RN license and BLS required.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of clinic experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with insurance authorizations and patient education on medications and diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years clinic experience
• Triage and telephone experience required
• Cardiology knowledge highly preferred
• Critical Access client experience highly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding medication, medical history, and diagnosis

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls and assess their needs
• Enter and scan results into the EMR
• Review clinical documents for indexing into patient charts
• Scan and verify documents for provider review
• Check for messages and callbacks multiple times a day
• Make follow-up calls regarding medication adjustments
• Communicate abnormal test results to patients with provider recommendations
• Triage incoming referrals and manage provider schedules
• Monitor CardioMEMS and PSCK9 patients, including prior authorizations and education
• Engage in authorization processes with insurance companies
• Handle denials and peer-to-peer consultations for testing
