Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an RN to provide triage assessments in person and by telephone, supporting clinical providers with examinations and procedures. The role includes leading team tasks and ensuring appropriate care levels are determined for patients.

Minimum 6 months in a physician practice or primary care, NJ RN license and CPR certification are required. Salary is hourly, with benefits for full-time colleagues. Be part of a patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a physicians practice/primary care.
• Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.
• Current NJ RN License.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Triage Assessments in person and on the telephone to determine appropriate level of care.
• Prepare and assist clinical providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Lead team as appropriate and assist with assignment of tasks.
• Conduct triage patient assessments including psychosocial and physiological status and health behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, physicians and others involved in care.
