Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) for nephrology in Elmhurst, IL. The role is full-time with 40 hours per week and requires occasional travel to other locations.

The RN will perform phone triage, patient education, and glucose monitor placement under supervision, while coordinating testing and referrals and maintaining exam rooms. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress.
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal.

Hourly Pay Range: $33.96 - $52.64

The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Nephrology
• Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time: 40 hours / week
• Office Hours:Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM .
• Travel Required: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem‑solving abilities.The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.Duties include: phone triage, patient education and continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre‑authorization and referrals, clean and stock exam rooms.
