Job summary

Beacon Health System in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a nurse to provide telephone-based nursing support and triage using the nursing process. You will direct callers to appropriate care levels and educate on health topics, delivering follow-up materials and safe, professional care advice.

Qualifications include a nursing Diploma or equivalent licensure, and an RN credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing with BLS within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

• Provides professional, safe and effective care-related advice to patients.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education
