Nebraska Methodist Health System seeks a Triage Nurse for Methodist Physicians Clinic - Elkhorn. The role involves telephone triage to identify high-risk patients, accurate documentation, and patient education to support care plans.

Shifts are casual/prn with hours typically 8am–5pm, Mon–Fri, in an on-site clinic setting. Responsibilities include prioritizing patient calls, coordinating with providers, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while delivering compassionate, patient-centered

Qualifications

• RN license required with current board approved licensure.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and document accurately.

Responsabilités

• Perform telephone triage to assess patient needs and relay information to provider.
• Input and document patient information and test results according to protocol.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and community resources as directed.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with examinations per protocol.
