NHC-White Oak Manor Charleston in Charleston, SC is seeking a dedicated Treatment Nurse for a full-time role on the first shift. You will supervise daily resident care and implement physician orders for skin treatments and dressing changes.

The position requires collaboration with CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors to maintain high-quality care on the units at our Trident Hospital campus facility.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of residence is required.
• Graduate of a state-approved school of Nursing.
• Must be able to act as charge nurse or Supervisor when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors about resident skin condition and changes in treatment orders.
• Carry out treatments as ordered (ointments, dressing changes) per physician orders.
• Coordinate care on assigned units in a full-time day shift and ensure safety and quality care.

NHC-White Oak is seeking a dedicated and experienced Treatment Nurse. This is a fulltime position, days of work are Monday-Friday first shift.

We are conveniently located at I-26 and University Avenue on the Trident Hospital campus, our facility is committed to delivering high-quality care and exceptional service to our residents.

This position communicates daily with CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors related to resident skin condition, change in treatment orders, preventive skin care needs and follows physician orders to carry out all treatments as ordered for assigned units (ointments, dressing changes, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing. Current and active RN license in the state of residence. Must be in good physical and mental health and must be kind, considerate, understanding and enjoy working with elderly people. Must possess skills necessary for acting as charge nurse or Supervisor on a given unit, when assigned. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel.
