Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Staffing Collaborative is recruiting Registered Nurses for 13-week assignments at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. The Nursing team will cover units with full-time hours, including weekend/holiday shifts, under a temporary staffing model with premium pay.

Assignments are 13–26 weeks, offering premium pay ($65–$75/hr) and optional health benefits through Temp Force.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse is required.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of recent Transplant or Surgical Stepdown RN experience, Preferred 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
