Job summary

Must be a current RN with required licensure and recent transplant or surgical stepdown experience. Assignments are full-time during the 13-week period, potentially including weekends and holidays to meet unit needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of recent Transplant or Surgical Stepdown RN experience; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually uses the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress toward goals and applies interventions.
• Promotes health and a safe environment.
