Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our local and travel staffing team. The RN will develop and implement nursing care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and ensure high-quality resident care in a clean, safe environment.

Requirements include an active Arizona RN license, at least 1 year hospital experience (acute rehab or acute care), flexibility to work shifts, and proficiency with electronic charting. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficient in electronic charting system.
• BLS (required)/ACLS (preferred).
• Current TB within a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Fingerprint Card clearance (current).

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
