Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a travel registered nurse to join our nationwide home health and hospice team. You will travel regularly across multiple service areas to support patient care in home settings, ensuring plans are implemented and coordinated with the care team.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience.
• Current RN license for the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively throughout assigned POD.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patients' home care.
• Collaborate with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families on patient condition, needs and care.
• Perform head to toe physical assessments.
• Check vital signs and manage medications.
• Administer injections, IV therapy or tube feedings.
• Maintain and document catheter care.
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs.
• Communicate patient progress to clinical manager and care team.

Attractive pay

• $95k to $110k annual salary with minimum of seeing 27 units per week.

Qualifications

• Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the company by plane, train, or automobile.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
