Amedisys is seeking a travel registered nurse to provide home health services across multiple locations in Georgia and surrounding areas. The role involves extensive travel and coordinating comprehensive care plans for patients at home.

You will lead patient care teams, educate families, perform assessments, and manage medications while ensuring timely documentation and collaboration with the clinical team.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in the target state(s).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time (air/train/car).

Responsabilidades

• Travel extensively across assigned POD.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patients' home care.
• Collaborate with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families on patient condition, needs and care.
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments.
• Check vital signs and manage medications.
• Provide injections, IV therapy, or tube feedings.
• Administer and maintain catheters.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs.
• Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician and care team.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

• $95k to $110k annual salary with minimum of seeing 27 units per week.

Qualifications

• Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the company by plane, train, or automobile.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
