Wellpath in California seeks a Travel Registered Nurse to support multiple facilities. This full-time role requires 100% travel to staffed sites across the state, delivering patient care under supervision of Charge Nurses and adhering to safety protocols.

How you make a difference

The RN Travel supports patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurses. This role involves administering medications, assisting in diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication handling, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The role requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs.

Additional Details

As a Travel Nurse you'll visit various Wellpath sites across California such as Shasta, Placer, San Luis Obispo, and Fresno.

Shifts vary by location, but most shifts are 12-hour days or nights, with some 8-hour options and weekend rotations depending on the site.

Candidates must hold an active California nursing license in good standing and have at least three years of nursing experience and 1 year of correctional experience.

RN's range from: $55-63 per hour. All travel and incidentals are included.

Qualifications & Requirements

EDUCATION

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

EXPERIENCE

• One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred




• Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the states of practice and the state in which you work, or a valid compact state nurse license




• Current CPR certification
