The Trauma Intensive Care Unit RN at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus provides specialized post-resuscitation critical care for patients with complex traumatic injuries. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who want to shape trauma care practices in a new unit.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1+ year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Military RN experience will be considered.
• Current state RN licensure; BLS and ACLS required within specified timelines.

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

About This Role

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

• 1+ year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
• Will consider military RN experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment
