UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL seeks an experienced RN to coordinate evaluation and care for transplant candidates and living donors. You will add patients to the waiting list, prepare patients for transplantation, and coordinate post-transplant care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in Alabama or eligibility is required.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate evaluation of candidates or living donors for transplantation.
• Add patients to the transplant waiting list and prepare patients for transplantation.
• Coordinate post-transplant care and act as primary contact for patients, physicians, pharmacies, and insurers.
• Participate in program research and development, guidelines, and quality-improvement initiatives.
