Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is actively seeking a registered nurse to provide contracted patient care using the nursing process, planning and implementing care, and monitoring responses. A current RN license, BLS, and clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate client care for contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and protocols, identifying education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.
