**Responsibilities**

**RN Transition Program - PACU, Beginning September 29th, 2025.**

The Transition RN Fellowship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit. Positions are limited, and early application is encouraged. The application period is open from May 5th, 2025, through May 14th, 2025, at 11:59 PM (only).

3. Letter of Intent, including the following (maximum of 2 pages, double-spaced, APA format not necessary):

• Explain why you are interested in the RN Transition Fellowship Program at Northridge Hospital
• Explain why you are interested in the unit or specialty field that you are applying for

**Qualifications**

**Required**

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting
• Graduate of an accredited RN school of Nursing
• Completion of an approved Basic Arrhythmia course prior to the start of the program (unless otherwise arranged with the Unit Director and Education department)
• Current CA RN license and American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card
• ACLS, PALS (per unit requirements)
• Successful completion of a formal Dignity Health interview process, with overall scoring considered for candidate selection

**For current employees:** Must be in good standing, with no disciplinary actions in the past 12 months, and have at least 'Meets' standards on the last two performance evaluations.
