Job summary

Eating Recovery Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for ERC Pathlight in Northbrook, IL. This full-time night shift (6:30pm–7:00am) supports a multidisciplinary team in delivering coordinated care and a therapeutic milieu.

You will perform comprehensive nursing duties, from assessments and care planning to medication administration, venous access, and wound care. On-call shifts may be required; strong communication and patient confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state
• BLS certification required
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• 1+ year in mental health setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care per patient treatment plan
• Conduct initial assessments and discharge education
• Administer medications per policy and orders
• Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
• Manage nasogastric tubes and enteral feeding
• Secure IV access and administer fluids
• Document care and patient status in EMR
• Supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses and techs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to update treatment plans
• Respond to emergencies and assist EMS as needed
• Mentor and train new nursing staff
