Texas Health Resources is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Transfer Center in Arlington, TX. This full-time, midshift role coordinates and facilitates patient transfers, collects clinical information, and collaborates with on-call physicians to ensure appropriate level of care.

The RN will participate in monthly staff meetings, perform data collection and audits, maintain knowledge of evolving transfer protocols, and contribute to ongoing departmental projects within a supportive team

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 4 years experience as a registered nurse in critical care, emergency services, or case management.
• 1 year transfer center experience within the last year is required.
• RN required upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and facilitate patient transfers following the Transfer Center process flow and higher level of care requirements.
• Collect clinical information to determine patient’s level of care.
• Collaborate with THR on-call physicians and non-THR physicians to arrange transfer.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and contribute to content discussed.
• Transfer Center Data Collection and Monthly audits as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving changes at each entity and follow transfer protocols.
