Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transfer Center to evaluate, coordinate, document, and manage patient transfers into the CHRISTUS Health System. The RN will use problem solving and customer service skills to engage departments and optimize transfer processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
• RN license in the state of employment or a compact is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to transfer center groups.
• Coordinate and communicate with ED, physicians, case managers, and hospital staff.
• Monitor bed availability and patient flow across facilities.
• Ensure accurate transfer data and documentation.
