Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a telehealth RN to provide triage and education across all ages. The role involves telephone-based assessment, referrals and crisis intervention using established protocols and documentation standards.

You will operate within a 12-hour night shift, with a 36-hour weekly schedule. Licensure across relevant states is required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials and ongoing competency maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Nurses must be licensed in the states where patients reside; additional licensure within 30 days.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Dedicates to maintaining department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides telehealth services for all ages via telephone triage, education and referrals.
• Answers caller inquiries and performs crisis intervention per protocols.
• Assesses physiological, psychological and cognitive status; documents health information.
• Educates patients and refers to appropriate services with clear instruction.
• Maintains awareness of legal issues in all aspects of telephone triage.
