Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse TeleFlex Tier 2 to join the Nursing Float Pool. You will deliver nursing care within the unit scope, assess patients, implement plans of care, and supervise ancillary staff.

Required: RN license in Michigan, ACLS within six months, and minimum one year of nursing experience; preferred ACLS in other units. Schedule: Full-time with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS within six months of hire for Critical Care, Emergency, Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheter Lab, Cardiac Rehab, ICU and Step-Down; NRP for Labor & Delivery; PALS for Pediatrics; TNCC within one year for Emergency Department.
• One year of professional nursing experience.
• ACLS preferred in other units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope following hospital policies and standards.
• Assess each patient, document responses to plan of care and take corrective action.
• Plan and implement the patient’s plan of care and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
