Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the TeleFlex Tier 2 Nursing Float Pool. This role delivers high-quality nursing care across units in accordance with hospital policies and standards of care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning and teaching, and coordination of ancillary staff. Required to have an Michigan RN license; ACLS within six months; NRP and PALS as indicated. Preferred: one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS required within six months for critical care/ER/ICU/Step-Down/TeleFloat units; NRP required for Labor and Delivery; PALS required for Emergency Department within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each patient, documents response to plan of care and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
