Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for a Tele Float assignment in California. This 13-week travel position requires a California RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and a minimum of 2.5 years of telemetry/stepdown/PCU experience.

Shifts are 12 hours, day/night rotating, with a 4-week cycle and potential to float across facilities. Candidates must be able to float to other units and facilities, manage patient ratios, and work in high-acuity environments with Epic charting.

Description:This is a float pool position, not unit-based.Shifts will be 12 hours, rotating between day and night.Weekends may be required as needed.All shifts within a 4-week schedule cycle will be either AM or PM.Candidates must be able to float to different facilities or units as necessary.Minimum of 2.5 years of recent TCU/Stepdown/PCU experience is required.Float experience is insufficient; the telemetry/stepdown experience must be consistent and identified as the home unit.Preferred experience includes caring for acute care patients who have recovered from procedures.Additional skills include managing various medical protocols, telemetry monitoring, and providing foundational support in high-acuity environments.Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.Candidates must have the ability to manage patient ratios of 5:1.Flexibility to float to different departments, units, or facilities within a specified radius is necessary.All travelers should be open to reassignment as operational needs dictate.Recent experience in supporting interdisciplinary teams and engaging in patient-centric care is essential.Travel RNs may be assigned to assist various departments based on patient needs and care requirements.
