Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN - Tele in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit. The position requires a minimum of 2 years in a similar unit, active nursing license, and certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS.

Night shift with 12-hour shifts, and a 13-week contract, with potential for extended travel assignments. Responsibilities include patient care for cardiac patients, titrating drips, and supporting procedures such as pacemaker implants and cardiac catheterization.

Description:RTO requests after booking are not allowed.Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could lead to cancellation of shifts.The unit is busy and challenging, requiring similar experience with patient ratios and acuity.Target ratios for patient care are 1:5-6, which may fluctuate based on unit needs.Travelers must be comfortable managing up to 6 patients.The unit will accept contracts for 13-26 weeks.A guaranteed 36 hours of work can be offered weekly.Shift times are from 18:45 to 07:15.Weekends are required every other weekend, along with 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period.Nurses are expected to provide pre- and post-care for cardiac patients, handling procedures such as pacemaker implantation and cardiac catheterization.The unit also manages patients with various cardiac conditions and may run multiple cardiac drips.Nurses will need to titrate cardiac drips and manage patients on non-invasive airway support as needed.Experience in a high-level telemetry unit is preferred, but not mandatory.Unit orientation is necessary and will cover all required protocols and procedures.Candidates must be comfortable with actively managing patient care shifts and efficiencies.The role includes the potential for floating within the facility as needed.All skills and experiences listed are essential for the position, and candidates must meet the requirements outlined in the job description.
