Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment in Texas. The unit is a Surgical Telemetry unit with 19 beds, staffed by RNs, LVNs, and PCTs. Typical day includes 07:00-19:00 shifts, ensuring patient care continuity and efficient admission/discharge support.

Requires BLS, TX RN license, and at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience, with preference for telemetry background. EMR is Meditech; patient ratios are around 1:6.

Qualifications

• RN with Telemetry specialty and Texas RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical experience.
• 1 year Telemetry/Telemetry unit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Telemetry Unit with 19 beds.
• Monitor patients, administer medications, and document care in Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVNs, PCTs and charge nurse; support admission and discharge processes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort with a positive team attitude.

Description:Surgical Telemetry Unit with 19 beds.Staff includes RN, LVN, PCT.Day shift has 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 Nurses (RN/LVN mix), and 1-2 PCTs.Night shift has 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 Nurses (RN/LVN mix), and 1-2 PCTs.Patient ratios are 1:6.Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines.EMR system is Meditech.Candidates with charge experience and preceptor skills are preferred.Typical procedures performed include ambulation of patients and wound care as needed.We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and who are team players.Great department culture with supportive staff.An admission/discharge team assists with the admitting and discharging process for patients.
